Pilates Instructor, Mat & Reformer
My name is Erin Carver. I started doing Pilates as a client on and off for about 12 years whilst I had a desk-based job as a Cartographer.
After I had my first daughter, I discovered my passion for mat work Pilates. Within 6 months I did my STOTT Mat work Certificate and never looked back.
I have a life-long history in dancing and calisthenics so thought this tied in nicely.
When I worked full time at a desk, I always had back pain and terrible posture. Since becoming an instructor I’ve had little to no back pain and improved posture.
I am interested in nutrition, eating well and all forms of exercise including cycling and bollywood dancing!
Before I went on maternity leave and became a Pilates Instructor I was a Software Trainer. I also hold a Cert IV in Training and Assessment and Cert IV in Pilates and simply thrive on educating, instructing and interacting with others.
I am constantly doing Pilates workshops to keep up with the latest Pilates education and knowledge. My particular interests are Mat work, Stretching and Reformer.
I am always learning more exercises so I can share them with clients and help
them on the road to better core strength, flexibility, reduced pain and lots of smiles!
